From the Auburn Court House, take Auburn-Folsom Road next to the courthouse toward Folsom (west). On Auburn Folsom Road, two lights past the Maidu Market, turn left on Maidu Drive. Then immediately turn right onto Shirland Tract Rd. Go 1.3 miles on Shirland Tract to the point where Shirland Tract takes a hard right hand turn. Do NOT take the turn, but go straight onto Manhattan Bar Rd. (dangerous corner)

There is a large sign on Manhattan Bar Rd. that says Private Road, STAY OUT. No Through Road. No Lake Access. Trespassers Will Be Shot. [Ok..I adlibbed a little].

Go .4 mile on Manhattan Bar to the end of the road. Three gravel roads go off of the end of Manhattan Bar. Take a hard right on the first very narrow gravel road. At this point I will have signs. Travel on the gravel road for .6 mile to my home. There is a gate after .2 mile. Gate Code for the day will be 4440 The gate will automatically close behind you.

Watch out for horses, cows, mountain lions, deer, bear, bob cats, raccoons, wild turkeys, skunks, foxes and miscellaneous other critters.
